Biography

      Born in the United States, Los Angeles, Eri Wong has a Master’s degree in Piano Performance from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She has performed at the Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall New York three times, and has also given solo recitals in the US, UK, and Japan.

 

      Eri has been awarded from many International piano competitions including, the American Protégé International Competition, LA Young Musician International Liszt Competition, LA Young Musician International Competition, and the Social music work competition. In the recent years, Eri received 1st place for the Great Composer Competition, Best Debussy Performance, and 1st place for the Glory Int. Music Competition in August 2018.  She was also the the winner of MTAC Final State Solo Competition.

     Besides awards, Eri was a part of the Young Musician Foundation Chamber music series and had the privilege to perform for a live radio broadcast at the LACMA. She has also performed in many charity concerts (Red Cross, Japan Tsunami Relief, and First Lutheran Church). Eri has also been the Symphony Orchestra pianist and an piano accompanist at the Azusa Pacific University.

    Eri has been teaching private piano lessons since 2015. She was the instructor of the Azusa Conservatory and a substitute teacher at the 88 keys Piano Academy. In London, she taught private piano lessons for music school such as: the Greenwich Music School, Hampstead Music School, Fireworks Music School, and Piano lessons London. She has also taught adult group lessons at the City Academy in central london.
